Comprehensive Participation Health Insurance

Overview

The Comprehensive Health Insurance Participation is a supplementary health insurance product that covers the additional (extra) costs incurred in the private health care institutions that are partners of the Social Security Institution (SSI). This insurance guarantees that the additional costs incurred by insured persons and their dependants covered by the General Health Insurance Scheme of the Social Security Institution when receiving medical services in health care institutions affiliated to the Participatory Retirement Scheme are covered in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Health Insurance and the Special Terms and Conditions of Comprehensive Participation Health Insurance.

Features

  • Comprehensive Participation Health Insurance is available to both Turkish citizens and foreign nationals. General health insurance beneficiaries under the Social Security Institution can benefit from this insurance.

  • The insurance is valid for residents of Turkey who are over the age of 15 days and under the age of 59 years. Children under the age of 18 cannot be insured independently, but can be insured with at least one parent.

  • Based on SSI's acceptance criteria, unmarried children who are dependents of the insured person may also be included in the coverage
  • The Comprehensive Participation Health Insurance product is structured in accordance with Participation Insurance
